Falling Into Your Smile is a TV series about gaming set in China. The series follows the story of the character of Tong Yao (Cheng Xiao)- the first female ever to participate in professional e-sports and the challenges she faces and stereotypes she challenges through her sport. Tong’s character is romantically involved with Lu Si Chen (Xu Kai) who is captain of her team. Their chemistry forms the backdrop of the story. 

Tung Yao is selected to represent China in the championship after several trials by fire, where she ultimately proves herself to be the strongest contender. Her character is a beacon of hope to young girls in China who are desperate to break the stereotypes that bind them. 

Also, what also captures the viewer's attention is the games themselves in e-sports and preparation for them. This part is very well detailed, the gane itself is very exciting to watch. Even if you do not know anything about e-sports, you will definitely come away with an appreciation for the sport!

Not a little important fact, is that the clothes in the series are quite modern, and also suit the characters according to their personalities.

What stood out for me was that the authors are very attentive to details, with the smallest personality trait of the characters showing up in their personal spaces.

I highly recommend the series to teenagers, as well as people who love drama and romance. Enjoy watching!
